– 1lb. beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 1 cup snow peas
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tbsp. grated fresh ginger
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
– 1/4 cup water
– 2 tbsp. cornstarch
– Rice, for serving
Instructions:
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
2. Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes or until browned.
3. Add the bell peppers, broccoli, snow peas, garlic and ginger to the skillet and continue to stir fry for another 3-4 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, water and cornstarch.
5. Pour the sauce over the stir fry and continue to stir fry for another 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
6. Dish up onto a bed of rice and enjoy!
