- 2-3 lbs of chicken pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder

- Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C).
- In a bowl, mix together salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.

- 2 cups uncooked white rice
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C).
- In a bowl, mix together salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl.
- Drizzle chicken with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning mix. Toss until well coated.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, combine uncooked rice, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs of chicken pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, soak chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Dredge chicken pieces in flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (177°C).
- Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove chicken from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
