- 1 large egg

- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 leaves green lettuce
- 8 dill pickle chips
Instructions:
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and using the flat side of a meat mallet, pound the chicken to an even 1/2-inch thickness.
- In a large, shallow dish, whisk together the flour, seasoned salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce.
- Working in batches, dip the chicken in the buttermilk mixture, shaking off any excess. Dredge the chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing the flour mixture to make sure it adheres to the chicken.
- In a large, deep skillet, heat enough oil to come halfway up the sides of the pan over medium-high heat until it registers 350 degrees F on a deep-fry thermometer. Fry the chicken, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a wire rack set over a baking sheet to drain.
- Spread the mayonnaise on the cut sides of the buns. Top the bottom half of each bun with a lettuce leaf, a fried chicken breast, and 2 pickle chips. Close the sandwiches with the top half of the buns and serve.
